Best thing about Norway

I’ve lived in Oslo, Norway for over two years now. I like it here and think that it’s a great place to live. But the best thing about it is it active mindset and the relationship to nature. I get out in the forest way more now than ever and it’s the way it work. At the weekends people get out to the coast or in the forest and so do I even if I live in Oslo which is the capital. I have never experienced this kind of behavior in Sweden in the Swedes also have a special relationship to its nature but not in the same way. And the public transportation system is not built for getting out in the nature. Here in Oslo I’ve got 15-30 depending on where I’m goin in transportation time to a place to walk in the forest, cross country ski in the winter or get out to a lake or the sea. This is from central parts of Oslo but still that’s just great.

This week which is week 3 in the NFL didn’t exactly go as I thought but it isn’t went totally wrong either. However, I like watching the NFL and its fun way to follow it got a rookie follower as I am. Trying to learn more about the game.

So that’s it the post. See you tomorrow.

Weekend plans

Part of my history

A few months my grandpa passed away a person who always meant the world to me and still to this day and forever will be an important person in my life.

Last weekend when visiting Gothenburg I also took a trip to my hometown and visited my dad and my grandma. I got the poster in the photo. It’s a commercial poster for the Swedish Armerica Line (SAL) who sailed between Gothenburg and New York. This way my old grandpa worked his way into the US meet a German women and married here and got two children. My grandpa and his little brother. The Swedish America Line is also how grandpa with his family traveled back to Sweden when he was about 10 years old. My old grandpa worked at this ships as well or many years so I’m happy to have this poster at home but only because it’s beautiful and a great memory but also because it’s a part of my family’s hostory.
