So a while ago I saw the latest Jack Reacher movie and I just have to start of my saying that I really like Tom Cruise as an actor he always delivers. In fact he might be one of my absolute favorite actors. However that was not what Inentirely thought I would write about. I like the actors okay but Cruise and the young girl really makes something of this move. The story is a Lee Child story and he is one of my favorite authors so it’s good but but as good as the books.
It’s action packed as you expect it to be. The stenography is good. As well as the photography that tends to be action based in my opinion. So I would recommend this movie!
This weekend has been a bit more intense tha usually because I had to get back earlier today to Sweden. In order to celebrate my dad who turned 55 earlier this week. Where a nice party and I got to see my sister for the first time since Christmas.
So what have I done more this weekend? Friday I drove up to Oslo and my girlfriend G where at a film shoot and came home after me so I had some time to watch 2 episodes of the Tv serie breakout kings. And than we had some wine and just hung out.
Saturday we drove to Brovoll which is about a 1 hour drive north of Oslo into the maountains and went cross country skiing and it was so calm and peaceful and the nature where just amazing so at one point I just had to stop just to enjoy the quiteness, amazing. And the view where stunning lite a winter wonderland.
Later that night we drove back to Oslo and went to see Singin In the Rain at Folketeatret. Great musical and great show which ended a great day.
So half way though this week as well and it just passes me by som fast right now. But i can’t forget last weekend in Oslo. I had a extra day of because it was a public holiday in Sweden. So I took of to Oslo. Anyway during friday I started with stocks and we got guest and then we hit Oslo where we saw a concert with my favorit partyband Awesomesauce that have a playlist filled with guilty pleasure music from the 90s’ and until today. Music that I’ve listend to when I grew up and still listens to. Then me and my girlfriend G knows half the band but still they are real great. I’m sure they will show up later in the blog again during this year. After that there was a DJ with similar music and we dance until the morning came. Can’t remember when I danced all night last time. But it was so fun.
Saturday G and our guest just hung out in Oslo and where home and played games and sunday me and the guest drove back to Gothenburg, Sweden again. Awesome weekend.
First of all I just want to say happy new year everyone and thanks for reading the blog during 2016. It’s amazing to be able to run this blog.
2016 have been an intense year but I first realized when looking back at it on new years eve. So I though I would summarize it a little bit. And I have an idea of split a deeper review up during the next month.
So 2016 started I started out on my trip to Bali. Which was my first time I spent new year outside of Sweden. Bali was amazing and among the best trips of my life and right now I can see a lot of people posting from Bali on social media and I just want to go back soon again.
However the trip ended and I returned back to work and my home in Oslo. Back home in Oslo i cross country skied as much as I could and when X-games visited Oslo me and friend went and saw the big air competition which where amazing.
During the spring I celebrated my 29th birthday and I did so in Florence, Italy which where great. Don’t think I ever been to a city where I’ve eaten som much great food and been drinking so much great wine and with great I really med GREAT!
Just two weeks after my return to Oslo I went back to Italy. This time I stopped in Milan on the way to Cinque Terra where I hiked for 5 days with beautiful views.
The summer I spent in Sweden as usually together with my family and during the summer my grandpa on mother side past away. But I also had a real nice summer. Most of it by my girlfriend G’s family’s cottage in Dalsland but also on the Swedish West coast that pretty much is Swedish summer to me. I also climbed hiked up the Norwegian mountain Gaustatoppen and meet my mom’s cousins and their children which where about the same age as me.
The autumn has I not written som much about on the blog but where among the biggest changes this year. I got a new job in Sweden that meant that I moved form Norway back home to Sweden again. However, I still travel a lot to Oslo and Norway because my girlfriend G still lives in Oslo. Much of the end of the year have been going to establishing my self back in Sweden. Taking up contact with friends in the area. Started to train lifeguarding again.
It’s been an intense year and I already now know that 2017 might be a even bigger year for me. I will let you know soon what this hint is about.
The last few days I watched the mini tv serie Arm on Netflix. I’ve seen it earlier but didn’t remember it. It’s a story about a knight Templar. But it’s a it only about a knight it’s also about parts of Seedish history and love. It’s all based on the books about Arn written by the Swedish author Jan Guilliou. Books a really recommend. However it’s not only a a great story it’s probably one of the biggest Scandinavian productions in modern time. I didn’t recall that is was that many famous actors in the movie but it’s truly full of Swedish tv and movie stars for example Stellan Skarsgård, Gustaf Skarsgård, Joel Kinneman and many more. Impressive if you as me all from scenery, actors, photo all is a real good here.
This season the NHL introduced 3 on 3 and I know I’m a bit late to the subject but found this youtube video and was just impressed by the entertainment value of this part of the game. I think it shows the potential of this part of the game and how entertaining it really is. It’s a show people and I like it.
I wish the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) will pick this thing up because I think it would add something to the league. Just check this video out.
A few days ago I watched Grown ups 2 after seen the first grown ups movie. I have to say that the story of this squeal is much less good than the first movie. In fact I think the story is a bit thin. Its all about one day and a party. To be honest I think that the second one, have a this story or pretty close to none story at all. The main story is about the group of friends who this day will have a big party. Dispite the lack of a story its funny and a pretty good movie.
The actors are funny and the scene are made in true Hollywood style and it works.
I would barely recommend it and I would rank it 3 out 5 points but as I wrote earlier, I would recommend it.
Here is the trailer if you think it sounds interesting or you’re just are curios about the movie.
A movie about a group of friends that moved around and not live in the same place any longer get together when their old coach dies and rents a cabin with their families. In fact the story is pretty good nothing spectacular but good. But this is one of the better stories for a comedy of this kind that I’ve seen in a while.
Scenery is American and works great and I like it. The cast of actors is good and have pretty big names. The main character is played by Adam Sandler and there is also actors/actresses such as Chris Rock and Selma Hayek that makes solid performances.
I would recommend this movie. I would give it 4 out of 5 points without any doubt. Have you seen this movie?
For the second time I tried Spotifys’ feature the Year in Music. Which is a great feature and I’m really impressed by it. Its a magnificent feature that summarize your year at Spotify which is very interesting.
I started the year of 2th of January by listening to Mitt Gullbergs Kaj Paradis (Live) med Håkan Hellström. Håkan Hellström is for you who not are Swedish a famous Swedish pop artist from Gothenburg that have a background in the Swedish indie pop scen and you could say that he made it widely spread in Sweden.
Then I apparently been mainly been listening to Håkan Hellström this year in combination with a few American artists. But a lot of pop in different genres but I also discovered a new genre thats called new mellow which I apparently am listening to quite a lot. What have you been listening to this year?
