Today I flew to Stockholm again this morning for a leadership course at work and took a flight back home to Gothenburg and every single time I use the app App in the air. Suprisingly, this might be one of my favorit apps and I will break it down for you and explain why.
- All the info I want!
Yes, that’s right. It gives me all the info that I want, when I need it. When the check-in closes, when boarding starts, what gate I need to be at, when it leaves, when I should arrive and delays of there i any. Just magnificent. This is just how I want technology to work.
- Tracks me
This might be scary to some people but I find in fantastict I can look back and see where and when I’ve been to different places in the world when I’ve been flying. I even gives me home many kilometers and how many hours I’ve spent flying. In fact it even tells me what plane models I’ve flue with and what airlines.
- Beautiful and Easy
The app is just beautiful and shows with great grapics the statistics and the trips I’ve done on a map and then there are small acheivments thats fun to reach and really simple and easy to use.
Bonus. It works with my Apple Watch which feeds me the most importat info that I want without even have to take my phone out of the pocket.
BAO Kitchen is located in the “old town” of down town Kungsbacka, Sweden. Rather close to the central station and Kungsbacka square. From what I know this is a rather new place that serves Asian fusion food.
The interior is probably best described as green and rustic with focus on nature and natural material such as wood. Not the most cosy vibe when I first looked in from the street but once you got in and got you table it was much better than expected and a nice relaxed vibe.
How about the food? I tried a bun meal and a salmon bowl. The buns where probably the best buns I’ve tried and the bowl where real good but not the best I’ve tried. Still very high class and this is without a doubt the best restaurant I’ve ever tried in Kungsbacka. The food where good, exciting and something new for me and as the same time high quality. Best restaurant in town! I highly recommend this place.
The Upper House Spa is located near Korsvägen in the Gothia Crown Skyscraper in Downtown Gothenburg and I would say that is the most centrally located spa in a big city that I’ve ever visited.
The concept is brilliant. And outdoor pool 50 meters above the ground totally in glas which means that you can see through the bottom of the pool down to the ground and get a pretty amazing view of the city and the nearby amusement park Liseberg. And the indoor spa have huge panorama windows that gives you a beautiful view of the city. I think this part is pretty genius to be honest. The view of the city from above gives you somehow a kind of peacefulness. This is also the newest spa as I know about in Gothenburg.
The interior is clean, modern with thick ropes as hangers for your bathrobe and a lot of black stone and blue pools. It’s modern and beautiful. Just right for a spa in this location.
The spa itself offers three pools, an experience shower with different kinds of waterfalls. An ice bucket to cool of. Two kind of saunas and a Hamam. Which is like a sauna with hot stone benches. And there is also a relax room where you can lay down an drink water and eat fruit. Other spas I’ve visited had more to offer, but for a few hours which where the case for my evening visit here The Upper House Spa where just perfect. Not to much and to to little but just the right amount.
I enjoyed this spa very much and could definitely good back soon again. Highly recommended and among the best spas I’ve been to.
This is among the coolest places I’ve been to lately and definitely the coolest and best food court/market I’ve ever been to. The place is an old warehouse building with a lot of foodtruckish stand that ll serve dishes from different places in the world. Italian, Thai, Chinese, American, Middle east and so on. And in the middle is the tables and the seats so all could sit together even if you want different dishes.
Great selection and but I tried the duck burger which where amazing and the fries with oregano which where to much oregano but okay. The duck truly where real great.
However, the experience in it self and the selection made me just want to come back. They also have a pretty cool outside area just by the water where you can enjoy the amazing view. Its cool setting, perfect for lunch and brunch or just something to eat spontaneously. Its affordable among the best prices I’ve seen in Oslo for this kind of food so highly recommends it!
Have you tried it? What did you think? Please leave a comment below.
So a while ago I saw the latest Jack Reacher movie and I just have to start of my saying that I really like Tom Cruise as an actor he always delivers. In fact he might be one of my absolute favorite actors. However that was not what Inentirely thought I would write about. I like the actors okay but Cruise and the young girl really makes something of this move. The story is a Lee Child story and he is one of my favorite authors so it’s good but but as good as the books.
It’s action packed as you expect it to be. The stenography is good. As well as the photography that tends to be action based in my opinion. So I would recommend this movie!
Last Saturday I went to the musical singin in the rain at Folketeatret in Oslo, Norway.
Stenography is classic old Hollywood which all feels obvious but possible and beautiful and tasteful. In fact it really make and impression and I thought it was great.
The actors where good and in general I think they where real good and delivered what I had expected and the guy playing Cosmo had great timing and the one who really made the difference if you ask me.
So what about the music, I can just say it’s a classic and it’s old but good. This must be the mother of all musicals and even this one is in Norwegian it’s great and I highly recommend it!
First of all I just want to say happy new year everyone and thanks for reading the blog during 2016. It’s amazing to be able to run this blog.
2016 have been an intense year but I first realized when looking back at it on new years eve. So I though I would summarize it a little bit. And I have an idea of split a deeper review up during the next month.
So 2016 started I started out on my trip to Bali. Which was my first time I spent new year outside of Sweden. Bali was amazing and among the best trips of my life and right now I can see a lot of people posting from Bali on social media and I just want to go back soon again.
However the trip ended and I returned back to work and my home in Oslo. Back home in Oslo i cross country skied as much as I could and when X-games visited Oslo me and friend went and saw the big air competition which where amazing.
During the spring I celebrated my 29th birthday and I did so in Florence, Italy which where great. Don’t think I ever been to a city where I’ve eaten som much great food and been drinking so much great wine and with great I really med GREAT!
Just two weeks after my return to Oslo I went back to Italy. This time I stopped in Milan on the way to Cinque Terra where I hiked for 5 days with beautiful views.
The summer I spent in Sweden as usually together with my family and during the summer my grandpa on mother side past away. But I also had a real nice summer. Most of it by my girlfriend G’s family’s cottage in Dalsland but also on the Swedish West coast that pretty much is Swedish summer to me. I also climbed hiked up the Norwegian mountain Gaustatoppen and meet my mom’s cousins and their children which where about the same age as me.
The autumn has I not written som much about on the blog but where among the biggest changes this year. I got a new job in Sweden that meant that I moved form Norway back home to Sweden again. However, I still travel a lot to Oslo and Norway because my girlfriend G still lives in Oslo. Much of the end of the year have been going to establishing my self back in Sweden. Taking up contact with friends in the area. Started to train lifeguarding again.
It’s been an intense year and I already now know that 2017 might be a even bigger year for me. I will let you know soon what this hint is about.
