Restaurant Review: Napoli1820 in Milan, Italy

Friday night me and my girlfriend G where in Milan for a quick visit. So we went out to dinner. We found Napoli1820 by the channel in the district of Navigli.

The interior of the place is colorful and pretty typical real Italian style. So it’s not a very special experience here but that doesn’t matter because the place you want to be is outside by the channel and where people passes by. Real cosy at the evening and a lovely atmosphere with a lot of real Italians surrounding you which give and authentic feeling.

So how about the food? I had the 1820 primavera pizza and I got to be honest, it’s probably the best pizza I ever eaten in my life and that’s why I can’t give anything less than 5 out of 5 stars. And the staff is great, friendly and just great.

Warmly and deeply recommend this place.

Restaurant Review: Stateline Brewery & Restaurant, South Lake Tahoe

Another stop at my California road trip when I visited South Lake Tahoe.

The Stateline Brewery & Restaurant was the second brewery I visited during the road trip. Its a restaurant and bar in the basement for a more mountain and cabin inspired shopping street with small malls in a similar style of buildings.

I had the chipotle chicken pizza with seasoned chicken, bacon, red peppers and pepper jack cheese with marinara sauce with chipotle aioli and green onions. Never ate this kind of pizza earlier but got to say that it was much better than expected and tasted good. Nothing but an ordinary pizza in my world but nice to try something different and this was apparently the pizza that where most popular and had been on the menu for the longest time. So, enough about the food. How was the beer? The beer was good or I would even say that it was great. The fact is that I could recommend this place only for the beer.

A place I would recommend, especially for the beer. I give this place 3 out of 5 points a real good place that I would recommend this place.

Restaurant Review: Pizzeria Pancetta Majurstua

Time for another restaurant review. This time it’s Pizzeria Pancetta Majorstua that I will review. Note that this is no restaurant where you sit and eat but more of a place for take away and it’s with that in mind I have reviewed the restaurant.

The interior is nothing special neither more or less than I’ve expected. If you’re here you’re here to buy take away pizza and you get what you want. But that lowers the score some. A rather nice menu with something for most people, I’ve been eating here a few time and my favorite so far is the Sorba the Greek pizza.

Best pizza I’ve tried in Oslo so far which is a good grade but for pizza in general its good and even on the higher part of good.

I would recommend it and I give it 3 out of 5 points. It’s close to a 4 but it’s not there yet at least.

If you want to try it here is some useful information.
